In 1993, the Dixie Children's Fund was founded as the education foundation for the Dixie School District.  In August 2010, the Dixie Children’s Fund changed its name to Can Do!.  We believe that our children are the future, and the mission of Can Do! is to raise funds to enrich the education of all Dixie School District students by providing them with the academic foundation to continue their education. We work in partnership with the District, site-based organizations and the community to give our children the best education possible.

The Dixie Children's Fund, dba Can Do! is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Our Federal Tax ID number is 68-0298033

Program Description:
Miller Creek Middle School offers three opportunities for team sports. In the Fall we invite all students to participate in countywide cross country meets. Practices occur at lunch prior to (2) meets held countywide.

In the Winter, Miller Creek participates in the county middle school basketball league. Participation in this sport requires students to participate in a "try-out" system due to the limited number of players that may be on any given team. Look for announcements about after-school try-outs in November. After-school practices and games begin after the winter break.

Spring begins the Marin County Track and Field season. Try-outs are held at lunch prior to the first countywide meet. Various track and field events are offered including relays.
