Jodi Chaban, Executive Director

Jodi joined the Can Do! team in 2021. Jodi was a district parent for 5 years and served on the Miller Creek Home and School Club Board for 3 years, with 2 of those years as Vice President. Prior to that, she served on the Montessori de Terra Linda Auction Committee for 6 years. Jodi owned and operated her own small business for 16 years in Novato and San Francisco, in addition to spending 4 years as a lead tech trainer for a large K-12 publishing company. Jodi has a teaching credential and a master’s in education, and many moons ago was a middle school science teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her daughter, a junior at San Rafael High School, family, friends, and her 3 cats. She loves going to the beach, hiking, dancing to live music, playing board, card, and word puzzle games, and even is a member of a local rock band! Email

Leah Curran, Operations Coordinator

Leah joined the Can Do! team in June 2021. Before joining Can Do! Leah spent nine years as Director of Operations at Oakland Ballet Company and prior to that five years in the corporate finance world. A lifelong dancer, Leah originally moved to the Bay Area to pursue a dance career and continues to dance and perform throughout the Bay Area. She is also a prenatal and postnatal yoga and fitness specialist and finds great joy in helping women navigate their pregnancies and beyond. Leah and her husband Ted moved to San Rafael from Oakland in 2019 and are thrilled to be making their home and raising their two boys and one girl in this beautiful community. Email

Jennifer Imbimbo, Co-President

Jen Imbimbo has been on the Can Do! Board of Directors since 2019. She has two children in the Miller Creek School District: Adeline, an eighth grader at Miller Creek Middle School, and John, a fourth grader at Vallecito Elementary. After a 15-year career in media relations at Sonoma Raceway, Jen ‘changed lanes’ and now works as an Aide to a Marin County Supervisor. Jen, a San Rafael native, also enjoys coaching little league and CYO basketball, participating in Adeline’s Scout troop activities, and working with the Vallecito and Miller Creek HSCs.

Tracy Yenshaw, Chief Financial Officer

Tracy Yenshaw is a senior finance leader in the biotech and pharma industry and has been part of the Miller Creek School District community for almost 2 years. She is currently CFO for the Can Do! Education Foundation and is passionate about supporting our schools and kids.

Allison Conn, Director

Kim Diamond, Director

Kim is a real estate development professional with a diversified career spanning 25 years in all aspects across the Bay Area – residential, mixed-use, and commercial. She is currently Founder and Principal of kd Shae Development based in San Rafael. Kim happily resides with her doughnut enthusiast husband (owner of Johnny’s Doughnets) and has 2 kids, Nicco, a 7th grader at Miller Creek, and Rylee, now 21, who graduated from Miller Creek. Kim has served on on other non-profit boards, and is very excited to be part of Can Do!

Todd Sapio, Director

Originally from Austin, Texas, Todd Sapio relocated to Lucas Valley in 2021 with his family. He and his wife Jennifer have been married 14 years and have two children who both attend Lucas Valley Elementary Todd is involved in various aspects of school life and loves supporting children’s curiosity in the arts. In addition to his involvement with the CanDo! board, Todd enjoys spending time outdoors, riding bikes, and pursuing his musical interests, including singing, playing guitar, making records, and finding the best coffee the Bay Area has to offer.

LaTonya Sumner, Director

LaTonya and her family moved to San Rafael in 2017 and joined the MCSD family where LaTonya actively volunteered with Vallecito and Miller Creek Middle School HSCs. She has a daughter in 7th grade at Miller Creek, and two sons in college. Both are graduates of Miller Creek Middle School and Terra Linda High.

As an IT Specialist, LaTonya hopes to utilize her many years of application and program management to help further the board’s goal of improving education for our children. She works to broaden access to quality education by supporting innovation, reducing barriers to entry, and helping Can Do build a strong community. 

Jennifer Cuthbertson, Co-President

Jennifer Cuthbertson is an Executive Director of Cybersecurity Governance at Wells Fargo where she is responsible for establishing company-wide requirements to protect Wells Fargo and customer data.  Jennifer has been with Wells Fargo for 18 years in a variety of Governance, Risk, and Compliance roles.  Jennifer and her husband, Glen, moved to Marin in 2012 from San Francisco; their daughter, Amelia, is a 4th-grader at Vallecito.  Jennifer and her family are SF Giants season ticket holders and also enjoy traveling, theater, live music, gardening, and making messes in the kitchen.

Jennifer Ishii-Yu, Secretary

Jennifer is in her 5th year on the Can Do! board. Jenn grew up in San Jose and attended Cal Poly SLO. After college, she moved to San Francisco and started working as a sales assistant at KPIX 5 TV/CBS. From there she became an Account Executive at Wild 94.9/Clear Channel (now iHeartRadio) and has been selling airtime for numerous radio stations ever since. Jennifer and her husband Greg moved to Terra Linda in 2010. They have 1 child, Nicholas, a 6th grader at Miller Creek Middle School. In her spare time you’ll find her outdoors, either snow skiing, wakeboarding, camping, SCUBA diving, hiking, biking, or “wogging” (walk/jog). You will also find her at Orca’s Swim Meets as a Stroke & Turn Judge or as a basketball or water polo spectator.

Carrie Heusner, Director

Jae Lee, Director

Jae Lee joined the Can Do! team during the 2023-2024 school year, after his family joined the Vallecito community. Jae’s family has benefited immensely from the programs supported by the Can Do! Education Foundation, which motivated him to get more involved in helping to increase awareness of the enormous value that Can Do! brings to broaden and enrich all Miller Creek District students’ educational experiences. Jae has a background in marketing and product management within the software industry. He and his family enjoy hiking, traveling, cooking, and all things Lego.
