Jennifer Imbimbo, President
Jennifer has been on the Can Do! Board of Directors since 2019. She has two children in the Miller Creek School District: Adeline, a seventh grader at Miller Creek Middle School, and John, a third grader at Vallecito Elementary School. After a 15-year career at Sonoma Raceway, Jen has recently ‘changed lanes’ and works as an Aide to a Marin County Supervisor. Jen, a San Rafael native, also enjoys coaching little league, working with the Vallecito HSC Campus Beatification Committee, and helping with lunch distribution at the middle school.
Du Nguyen, Vice President
Du Nguyen and his wife, Brooks, have two children in the Miller Creek School District. Du is the founder of a technology start-up that is focused on Augmented Reality and AI. Originally from Seattle, Du has lived in the Bay Area since 1997. He previously served on the board of Hands On Bay Area in San Francisco. Du has an Economics degree from the University of Washington.
Christian Willard, CFO Christian joined the Can Do! Board in 2021. His son is an 8th grader at Miller Creek and previously attended Vallecito, where Christian served as classroom parent in grades 3-5. Prior to joining the Can Do! Board, Christian served on the Board of Trustees at Montessori de Terra Linda and held the role of Treasurer. He has worked at First Republic Bank for the past 10 years, where he is on a commercial lending team that specializes in lending to wineries and vineyards in Northern California and Oregon. He and his wife have lived in Terra Linda for the past 9 years and still relish the warm summers that they were denied while living in the Inner Sunset for many years. Jennifer Ishii-Yu, Secretary Jennifer is the Account Manager at Classical KDFC Radio, in charge of underwriting sponsorship sales for the not-for-profit listener-supported station owned by the University of Southern California. Prior to this, she has held Account Executive sales positions at Bonneville International, Entercom, and Clear Channel (now iHeartMedia), representing Wild 94.9, 96.5 KOIT, 95.7 The Game, 102.9 KBLX, 98.5 KFOX, Q102, and many other popular Bay Area radio stations. Jennifer is the Co-President of the Vallecito Home & School Club. She and her husband, Greg Yu, moved to Terra Linda in 2010 after living in San Francisco for 10 years. Their son Nicholas is in 5th grade. |
Marie Barnes, Director Marie was born in San Francisco and is fluent in Spanish. She received her Bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University in Political Science and Psychology and received her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University, Thomas Cooley Law School. Currently, Marie resides in Marin with her three boys, two of them attending Lucas Valley Elementary. In her spare time, she volunteers for various organizations that provide legal services to the community. |
Allison Conn, Director Allison joined the Can Do! board in 2022. She’s the Executive Assistant for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers San Francisco District, and has been an employee there for the last 16 years. She and her husband, Caleb, have two kids at Mary E. Silveira – JoJo (4th grade) and Torin (2nd grade). Allison and her family have lived in TL for 6 years. Allison also serves on the Terra Linda Orcas Board and Caleb coaches soccer and baseball. They are super grateful for our community and love being a part of it. Jennifer Cuthbertson, Director Jennifer joined the board in 2022 and is a Regulatory Operations Vice President at Wells Fargo where she manages Global Privacy program governance. Jennifer received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California, returning to her native Northern California after graduation. Jennifer met her husband, Glen in San Francisco where they lived for 6 years before heading to Marin County. They live in an Eichler home in Terra Linda with their daughter Amelia, a 3rd grader at Vallecito. As a family, they enjoy traveling, the theater, ballet, soccer, gardening, and going to Giants games. |
Heather DiGiorgio, Director
Heather joined the Can Do! board last year. Heather and her husband Tony have 2 daughters, Gia (3rd grade) and Elle (1st grade) at Mary E. Silveira. She has been serving as president of the MES Home and School Club for the past 2 years. They moved to Terra Linda 8 years ago and are so happy to be part of this wonderful community and the Miller Creek School District.
Flor Espinosa, Director
Flor's family has lived in Terra Linda since 2018. Flor and her husband, Hugo Sajche, have three children, a 6th grader at Miller Creek, and a 4th and 2nd grader at Mary Silveira. They have been in the district for four years. Flor has volunteered for MESHSA for the past few years, including serving lunch daily to the students. Flor has now stepped up as the new president of the Miller Creek HSC. She looks forward to continuing her volunteering at MES, MCMS, and on the Can Do! board.

LaTonya Sumner, Director
LaTonya and her family moved to San Rafael in 2017 and joined the MCSD family when her two boys attended Miller Creek. Her daughter is currently in 6th grade at Miller Creek after promoting from Vallecito, where LaTonya actively volunteered. Since 2020 LaTonya has served as treasurer for Academic Excellence at Terra Linda High and worked with the SRCS district on several committees. As an IT Specialist for the Presidio Trust, LaTonya hopes to utilize her many years of application and program management to help further the board’s goal of improving education for our children. She looks forward to broadening access to quality education by supporting innovation, reducing barriers to entry, and helping Can Do build a strong community.
